Quality class
Prime
Boards with a natural color and any grain. In this class there may be sporadically healthy knots up to 10 mm and pin knots up to 2 mm. White is unacceptable.
Rustic
Healthy knots up to 70 mm and encased knots to 30 mm are permitted in the rustic class. Accepteble are natural discolorations and sapwood may occur.
* in both classes there may be up to 2% boards with a lower quality class
